ChaTA inaugural event is being planned in our Ugadi festival celebrations. It is being planned for Saturday, March 24, 2012 between 4.00 PM and 10.00 PM at the Beach Club House, Wild dunes, Isle of Palms, SC. More details will be published soon. We need to figure out how many people would like to attend this inaugural event/Ugadi celebration so that it can be planned accordingly. Please stay tuned for contact information .

About ChaTA
Welcome to ChaTA. Charleston Telugu Association (ChaTA) was formed on January 28, 2012 to bring together and serve the Telugu community of Charleston, South Carolina area and its surroundings.
Our Vision: Build a vibrant Telugu community and promote Telugu culture and language in and around the Charleston area.
ChaTA celebrates several Telugu festivals annually and encourages participation by members and well wishers at these events. ChaTA organizes celebrations for three festivals every year: Sankranti, Ugadi, Deepavali, and hosts a picnic in summer.
